Angel Aligner™ Clear Aligners in St Leonards

Advanced Technology with More Choices

Clear aligners aren’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why Dr Andrew Lau offers three systems at St. Leonards Square Dental Care. It means he can weigh your teeth, your priorities and your budget, rather than steering everyone toward the same option.

Angel Aligner™ is one of them. It pairs distinctive material technology with practical design choices, offering another technology-forward option for suitable patients who are also keeping budget in mind.

How Does the 7+3 System Work?

Two trays, two jobs. That’s the short version of Angel Aligner Pro’s 7+3 dual-material system.

For the first seven days, a more flexible masterControl S™ tray does the work, delivering sustained force with greater flexibility. Then it hands off to a firmer masterControl™ tray for three days, one built for greater force retention and control.

Flexibility first, then control. This graduated approach may help balance comfort with controlled tooth movement, though how it plays out depends on your individual needs.

Thoughtful Details for Everyday Wear

Small design features can make a practical difference during wear, and Angel Aligner has a few worth mentioning.

Take angelButton™. It’s an anchorage point manufactured directly into the tray itself, used when elastics are part of your plan. This may remove the need for a separate button to be bonded at that location, which may reduce the need for additional chairside modification in that area.

There’s also the material’s light-dispersing surface technology, engineered to keep the trays looking discreet while you’re wearing them.

Why Does Dr Lau Offer Three Systems?

Invisalign®, SureSmile® and Angel Aligner™ aren’t interchangeable. Each has its own materials, planning tools and technology behind it, and having access to all three means Dr Lau isn’t locked into recommending the same one regardless of who’s in the chair.

  • Bite.
  • Case complexity.
  • Aesthetics.
  • Budget.

All of it factors into which system he’d suggest, because the aim isn’t to favour one brand for everyone. It’s to land on a pathway that actually fits your circumstances.

Could Angel Aligner Be Right for You?

If you’re an adult with mild to moderate crowding or spacing, and you’re interested in technology-forward features while keeping budget in mind, this could be worth a look.

That said, suitability isn’t something you can determine from a brochure. Dr Lau needs to assess your teeth, bite and oral health first. From there, he’ll talk you through the options that may be appropriate, your recommended plan, expected timeframe and what day-to-day care involves before you decide whether to proceed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does 7+3 mean?

Two trays per stage, each with different material properties. Seven days in the more flexible masterControl S™ tray, then three in the firmer masterControl™ tray.

What is angelButton™?

An anchorage feature built into the tray itself. If your plan includes elastics, it gives you an attachment point right there, without a separate bonded button.

Is Angel Aligner suitable for everyone?

No. Your bite, oral health and the specific movements you need all shape which system may be appropriate. Dr Lau can assess these factors with you and discuss which options may be appropriate.
